I like it and agree. It is an enhancement not animation. Very much the same as light effects or layering to give the illusion of 3D to a 2D image.

I agree with you about “motion comics”. They are usually bad. On the other hand, subtle effects like this one just enhances the image. Very good.

Oh, I’m guessing Pelopidas has some sort of contingency plan in place to keep Lydia from dying. Life without a hand could prove difficult as well (though Jaime Lannister and Rand al’Thor seem to be managing.)

I *hope* that her little orbiting buddy can supply her with some needed medical attention. Hopefully fixing her hand and keeping her from dying this early in the story.
